About Naomi
I learned this work on myself, first.
relieving pain. improving movement. letting go of unnecessary effort.

The turning point
I injured my knee seriously, and then had several surgeries that did not give me back what I had lost. I learned to move around the problem: to favour one leg, to avoid certain positions, to brace before I stood up. Over the years that becomes not a knee problem but a whole-body habit.
What finally changed something was not another attempt to repair the joint. It was being guided to notice how I was moving, in detail, without being corrected. Slowly other options appeared.
I remember the moment clearly: standing with my weight resting evenly on both legs, sensing my body as one connected whole after years of restriction. That experience is what led me into this profession, and it is what I recognise in the people who come to me.

Working with children
Alongside my movement practice I spent a decade in Montessori education, which taught me to watch children closely and to trust their own timing.
I have professional experience working with babies and young children, including children up to the age of five with developmental differences such as autism and cerebral palsy. This is experience, not a treatment claim: I do not treat autism or any medical condition. I work with movement, attention and development, with the child and often with the parent together.
“She deeply understands the theory and adapts it perfectly to the individual.”
Naomi is a wonderful teacher and person. She truly knows and deeply understands the Feldenkrais theory and applies it in the best possible ways by adapting it perfectly to the personal, individual needs of each patient. Since she relocated her practice from Israel, I still miss her deeply and would love to have her back.
